Walton County Animal Clinic is a long-standing small animal practice in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, serving the community for nearly 40 years. We’re looking for a Managing DVM who wants to lead with integrity, stay hands-on clinically, and help guide a respected practice into its next chapter—without losing the culture that makes it special.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care to small animal patients
  • Perform surgeries and dental procedures
  • Interpret diagnostics and develop treatment plans
  • Mentor associate veterinarians and medical staff
  • Help guide medical standards and daily clinic operations
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance

Requirements/Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
  • Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license eligibility
  • VET that has experience in small animal general practice
  • Comfortable in a leadership role while remaining clinically active
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs (assistance available for larger patients)

Pay Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
