As our next Managing Veterinarian, you'll have the opportunity to build on that legacy while helping shape the future of an established practice.

This role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys mentoring others, leading by example, and staying actively involved in patient care. You'll partner with an experienced team to support medical excellence, develop fellow veterinarians, and foster a collaborative culture where everyone is empowered to do their best work.

In addition to competitive base compensation, this role includes a monthly MDVM leadership stipend and quarterly bonus opportunities, providing additional earning potential beyond your base salary.

Essential Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality medical and surgical care while remaining actively involved with patients and clients
  • Lead by example, helping shape and maintain high medical standards across the practice
  • Mentor and support associate veterinarians as they grow clinically and professionally
  • Partner with hospital leadership on medical decisions, practice goals, and continued growth
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable culture where great medicine and teamwork come first
  • Build lasting client relationships through compassionate communication and education
  • Support consistent medical protocols, accurate records, and high standards of patient care

Requirements/Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited program
  • Active Florida veterinary license, or ability to obtain
  • DEA licensure, or eligibility to obtain
  • Clinical experience in small animal medicine with confidence practicing independently
  • A genuine interest in leadership, mentorship, and developing others
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Collaborative, positive, and professional approach to patient care and team leadership
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed

Pay Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
