Chagrin Animal Clinic is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our veterinarians have years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care.

Position Purpose

We are looking for another veterinarian to come join our amazing team!

 

We have been providing the highest quality of small animal care in the area since 1987. We are equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and video otoscope.

 

We have a very experienced and collaborative support staff that will allow you to focus on patient care and provide an excellent client experience. We have a loyal and appreciative clientele that are highly invested in their pet’s health – some of our clients have been coming to us for generations.

 

Your hours are flexible. We try to accommodate all schedules. We welcome DVMs of all experience levels to apply - new graduates included!

Interest in client education, surgery and dentistry is preferred. After hours emergencies are referred to nearby emergency clinics.

 

About the area: We are located in beautiful Chagrin Falls which is known for the waterfalls located right in the center of its quaint downtown. It is a friendly town with a lot of history, plenty of outdoor activities and parks, and still close enough to downtown Cleveland to catch a show or sports event. Essential Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
