Position Purpose

Town and Country Animal Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, is excited for another veterinarian to join our growing, progressive 2-doctor practice. Our experienced staff is compassionate and dedicated to client education and their pet’s quality of life. We are a primarily small animal practice; however, we also support a minor exotic/avian caseload. We have a diverse surgical caseload ranging from spay/neuter to orthopedics, and one can perform whatever procedures they are comfortable with. We are well-equipped with a full lab, digital radiography, and endoscopy, and are proud to be a Certified Cat Friendly Practice.

Full and part-time positions available.

About the area: Hattiesburg is known as "The Hub City" because it has a centrally located depot that connects intersecting train tracks. While still an operational transportation modality in our city, the nickname applies as the cities of Jackson, MS; New Orleans; Birmingham; and Mobile are all within 2 hours of our city. Hattiesburg, though, is known for its small-town atmosphere with big-city amenities such as over 200 restaurants, a zoo, a water park, several museums, and recreational activities. HubFest is an annual festival that highlights the cultural diversity of the town. Festival South's event occurs over the entire month of June every summer, involving theatrical and musical performances, "Best of the Pine Belt" awards, and weekly highlights of the city itself.
