We are part of a large network of veterinarians that includes specialists in internal medicine, surgery, emergency care, ophthalmology, radiology, and dermatology. Our frequent consultation and referral within this network help us meet our goal of providing the highest level of personalized care.

Position Purpose

Countryside Animal Clinic is seeking a smart, caring, and dedicated veterinarian to join our team. We are a 1.5 doctor practice looking to add a full or part-time DVM to our awesome team. Both of Countryside's doctors have strong interest in dentistry and would be happy to share their knowledge and experience. We utilize full in-house lab, digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, and ultrasound to help perform full workups of our patients.

 

If you are an experienced DVM, our facility and equipment will allow you to perform your highest level of care for patients. If you are a new grad, you will be able to learn in our low pressure environment while also receiving individualized mentorship from our two seasoned DVMs. On top of this low pressure environment, you will get to decide how many patients you see in a day!

 

We utilize our highly trained technicians, assistants, and front desk staff when prioritize high-quality care to all patients. Our clients love our collaborative approach with our experienced support staff when treating their pets.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
