There are veterinary jobs… and then there are veterinary homes.

At Wolf River Veterinary Clinic, we’ve built something special—an environment where medicine is thoughtful, collaboration is real, and people genuinely enjoy coming to work. If you’re looking for a place where your voice matters, your growth is supported, and your days are filled with purpose (not just appointments), you might have just found it.

What Makes Us Different

This is not a high-volume, burnout-style practice. Our doctors see 12–15 patients per day, allowing time to connect, think, and practice high-quality medicine the way it should be practiced.

Our appointments are intentionally longer:

  • Wellness: 30–45 minutes
  • Sick visits: 45 minutes

Because great medicine takes time—and we protect that.

A Team That Has Your Back

You won’t be doing this alone.

  • 1 full-time DVM + 2 part-time + 2 relief doctors
  • 2 credentialed technicians + 4 veterinary assistants (+1 highly trained “bonus” assistant)
  • Strong 1–2 techs per doctor ratio (and 2 dedicated to surgery)

Our support staff is highly skilled and empowered—they handle diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, and technical workflows so you can focus on what you love: practicing medicine.

A Space Designed for Great Medicine

  • 5 exam rooms
  • Dedicated surgical suite
  • Dedicated dental suite
