There are veterinary jobs… and then there are veterinary homes.
At Wolf River Veterinary Clinic, we’ve built something special—an environment where medicine is thoughtful, collaboration is real, and people genuinely enjoy coming to work. If you’re looking for a place where your voice matters, your growth is supported, and your days are filled with purpose (not just appointments), you might have just found it.
What Makes Us Different
This is not a high-volume, burnout-style practice. Our doctors see 12–15 patients per day, allowing time to connect, think, and practice high-quality medicine the way it should be practiced.
Our appointments are intentionally longer:
Because great medicine takes time—and we protect that.
A Team That Has Your Back
You won’t be doing this alone.
Our support staff is highly skilled and empowered—they handle diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, and technical workflows so you can focus on what you love: practicing medicine.
A Space Designed for Great Medicine
Practice Your Way
We’re a small animal clinic (dogs, cats, and the occasional pocket pet), with a case mix that keeps things interesting and rewarding.

Have a special interest? We’re all ears—and we’ll support you in developing it.
Work-Life Balance Is Real Here
Rooted in Community
We’re proud to do more than just care for pets—we care for our community. Through initiatives like our work with stray and adoptable animals, we help give second chances and support the human-animal bond in a meaningful way.
