Circle C Animal Hospital in Austin, TX is a full-service companion animal hospital. Our commitment is to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet.

 

Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, an in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and intensive care and isolation units.

Position Purpose

Circle C Animal Hospital of Austin, Texas is excited to add another veterinarian to our team! We could use the help of a new grad or seasoned DVM as we continue to grow our practice. Both of our seasoned DVMs are ready to mentor new grads and welcome the opportunity.

 

Our doctors’ pride themselves on staying up to date with current recommendations and always offering thorough treatment plans. We are a fully equipped practice offering many services, including, but not limited to wellness care, surgery, in house laboratory, dentistry, cardiology, and dietary counseling. Our team of seven technicians and one assistant offer a full support team to our veterinarians, allowing for ease and partnership during practice hours.

 

Our clients come to us because they want top-notch care and will be invested in working with you to provide the best care for their pets. We would be happy to support your unique clinical interests whether they be surgical or medical. Your schedule will be flexible, with no weekends or on-call hours.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $1,400,000.00 /Yr.
