The Veterinary Clinic of Pearland proudly serves the pets of Pearland, Alvin, Houston, S. Houston, Manvel, Friendswood, TX and surrounding areas with full-service small animal care. We have a beautiful, newly renovated facility featuring 5 exam rooms, an enhanced treatment area, modern reception, and more.

Position Purpose

The Veterinary Clinic of Pearland is looking to add another veterinarian to our team! We are a small animal focused, general practice that began just 5 years ago. Since then, we have quickly obtained a steady stream of fantastic clients that have allowed us to expand our practice. We are currently led by two extremely knowledge and experienced DVMs that have accumulated decades of experience. We aim to treat clients’ pets as if they are our own, providing our community with top-of-the-line wellness, diagnostic, and surgical care. Our doctors are backed by a loyal team of technicians, assistants, and receptionists that ensure our days always run smoothly. Essential Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $1,400,000.00 /Yr.
