Position Purpose

Davis Pet Hospital in Collinsville, IL is looking to add another veterinarian to our awesome team! We are an AAHA accredited, full-service small animal clinic.

Our team currently consists of 5 full-time veterinarians that have accumulated many combined decades of experience. Supporting them are 5 certified veterinary technicians, 3 other members of our team that have completed a technician program and are waiting on the licensing exam, and 4 other members are currently enrolled in the Penn Foster technician program. Our technicians are extremely competent and well utilized for monitoring anesthesia, catheter placement, radiographs, blood draws, cystos, and more. Our team is cohesive, compassionate, and we truly allow each other to practice the best medicine. We are confident that any new veterinarian will flourish as a part of our team!

We welcome DVMs of all experience levels - for new graduates, any of our current doctors will make great mentors. Our busy practice will ensure a steady and exciting caseload. For doctors with a surgical interest, our surgical caseload consists of:

  • routine soft tissue
  • simple fracture repair
  • emergency surgery (c-section, pyometra, foreign body)
  • cruciate repairs
  • splenectomies
  • cystotomies and more!

About the area: Collinsville is located in Southern Illinois, just outside of St. Louis. When driving in, you will notice our famously recognized water tower that is painted to resemble a catsup bottle! The area is a historical destination with the Cahokia Mounds and their many acres of preserved settlements and archaeological remains stretching throughout the area. Because of our large Italian population, we host the largest annual Italian festival in the Midwest.
