Broomall Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Broomall, PA. We seek to provide the best possible medical care, surgical care and dental care.

 

Our practice has a warm, friendly, and informal atmosphere. Everyone is treated with respect, has great senses of humor, and keeps things light and inviting for all team members and clients, which is why we have local and long-distance clients who have been coming to us for generations.

Position Purpose

Broomall Animal Hospital is excited to add another veterinarian to our incredible team!

 

We currently have a two-doctor team, one who has been with Broomall AH since 1987 and the other who joined us in 2023. Both have strong interests preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and diagnostic workups. They are supported by a confident team of 5 technicians (2 CVTs) and 3 receptionists, some of whom have also been with the practice for decades.

 

We welcome DVMs of all experience levels and would gladly provide any needed mentorship to a new graduate. Our current mentorship program has had proven success in confidence, satisfaction, and production for all who have participated!

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
