Carolinas Veterinary Care Clinic is a full-service veterinary clinic in Huntersville, NC. We proudly offer state-of-the-art veterinary medical technology in an upscale atmosphere. Our beautiful facility is conveniently located off I-77 Exit 25 in the Northcross Shopping Center of Huntersville, NC, adjacent to Panera Bread and Petco.

 

At Carolinas Veterinary Care Clinic, we are proud to offer our expertise to a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, small mammals, pigs, and many more.

Position Purpose

Our practice is excited to add another experienced veterinarian to our team!

 

We are a 4,000 square foot, full-service veterinary clinic and take pride in our dedication to the highest standards of medicine and individualized approach to long-term care for each of our patients.

 

We offer a vast array of services to our clients, serving as a great opportunity for any DVM to practice multiple skillsets. These services include:

  • Wellness and Preventative Care
  • Diagnostic Evaluation through Digital Radiology, Ultrasound, and Full In-House Laboratory
  • Emergency and Urgent Care
  • Dentistry
  • Advanced Surgical Procedures
  • Exotic/Avian Care

Essential Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
