Our mission at Glenwood City Veterinary Clinic is to offer first-rate, compassionate veterinary care. We are a full-service, small animal practice and rehab facility.
We possess a tremendous team and see some outstanding clientele. Our team comprises three doctors, three certified veterinary technicians, several technician/kennel assistants, and CSRs.
We are looking to add an experienced veterinarian to our team to take on the role of Managing DVM! Our current leader, Dr. Vicki Wilke, is on the cusp of retirement and is ready to pass the torch to a growth-minded veterinarian.
We are a successful, steady-paced, and team-focused small animal practice ready to welcome a new generation of leadership!
The Managing DVM is responsible for providing medical and non-medical leadership for the practice, managing associate veterinarians, and ensuring regulatory compliance relating to veterinary medicine. The Managing DVM is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork and collaboration in which quality medicine is delivered.
Additional responsibilities include guiding the direction of the practice, advancing medical care, and monitoring the practice's financial performance.
About the area: Glenwood City is a friendly and welcoming community about an hour east of the Twin Cities. We value the town’s history and celebrate our tight-knit, small town feel. Here, there are plenty of outdoor activities to take advantage of such as fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, or sledding. The downtown area is full of charming shops and restaurants that embody the local culture. The area is also incredibly safe and home to an excellent school system.
Equal Employment Opportunity
It is the policy of the company to afford equal opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, non-disqualifying disability, or status as a disabled or Vietnam-era veteran.
