Position Purpose

Walton County Animal Clinic has been part of the DeFuniak Springs community for nearly 40 years. We’re a small animal practice known for strong client relationships, practical medicine, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. We’re looking for an Associate DVM who values collaboration, appreciates independence in medical decision-making, and wants to be part of a practice that still feels personal.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care to small animal patients

  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments

  • Conduct routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry

  • Develop and explain treatment plans to clients

  • Maintain accurate medical records

  • Collaborate with technicians and support staff

Requirements/Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Active Florida veterinary license or ability to obtain
  • Experience preferred
  • Comfortable with routine surgery and dentistry
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
