We were established in 1993 and have over 70 years of combined experience.

Position Purpose

We are seeking an additional veterinarian to join our growing team!

Our practice is excited to offer a unique professional development opportunity. We are a successful, steady-paced, and team-focused small animal practice, and we are excited to welcome a new generation of DVMs!

Our practice currently has an ideal doctor-to-tech/assistant ratio. Our technical staff is highly utilized, ensuring that their doctors always have an extra hand and can manage their time as needed. We foster a supportive team environment, with caseloads that are optimal for a doctor who likes to keep a steady agenda with a balance of medical and surgical cases.

 

Countryside Animal Hospital is located in Waupaca, a beautiful town with easy access to Appleton and Stevens Point. Many outdoor attractions like the chain O'Lakes, a beautiful water recreational destination. The Ice Age Trail is close by as well as state parks surrounding the area. We have a major hospital in town and the school districts are ranked well and offer many types of extracurricular activities. Countryside Animal Hospital is a busy clinic with an established client base and our well-balanced team is fun to work with and easy going.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.

Pay Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
