North Bay Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital providing quality medical, surgical and dental care to our highly valued patients. Our professional and courteous staff is committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, and preventative and wellness health care to our patrons.

 

We have access to digital radiography, state-of-the-art in-house lab equipment, as well as updated dental and anesthesia units. Our very own North Bay Animal App is a great complement to our thriving Facebook page, and a direct texting service allows our clients easy access to our hospital team during business hours.

Essential Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care by examining and treating companion animals to diagnose illness and injury.

  • Utilize diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and accurately interpret results to guide treatment plans.

  • Educate and advise pet owners on preventative care and recommended treatments.

  • Perform surgical procedures and prescribe medications confidently and responsibly.

  • Offer compassionate support during end-of-life care discussions.

  • Maintain accurate, organized medical records.

  • Practice medicine in alignment with veterinary ethics, standards, and hospital protocols.

  • Digital radiography

  • North Bay Animal App and texting service for streamlined client communication

  • A varied surgical caseload, including routine procedures plus cystotomies, FHOs, amputations, enucleations, C-sections, and more

What We’re Looking For

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
  • Active Florida veterinary license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Eligibility for DEA/BNDD
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A genuine commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
