Associate Veterinarian – North Bay Animal Hospital (Lynn Haven, FL)

Imagine finishing a rewarding day of surgery and medicine, then heading out to paddleboard, fish, or simply sink your toes in sugar-white sand beaches—without worrying about being on call. At North Bay Animal Hospital, that balance isn’t just possible—it’s our standard.

For nearly 50 years, we’ve proudly served the Lynn Haven community with compassionate, high-quality care. Now, in our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, we’re ready to welcome an experienced veterinarian who’s looking for a place where excellent medicine meets an unbeatable lifestyle.

Who We Are

  • Founded in 1975, carrying on a 50-year legacy of trusted care.

  • Led by Dr. Robert “Bo” Bergloff, who keeps compassion at the heart of everything we do.

  • A supportive crew: 5 superstar techs, 3 client service dynamos, and 2.5 caring doctors (yes, the part-timer counts as half 😉).

  • A team culture built on collaboration, respect, and treating one another like family.

And the cherry on top? No weekends. No on-call. No emergencies.

Essential Responsibilities

  • What You’ll Get To Do (aka Your Superpowers)

    • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.

    • Advise pet parents on preventative care and treatment options.

    • Perform surgery and prescribe medications like the pro you are.

    • Provide counsel during those tender end-of-life moments.

    • Keep medical records neat and tidy.

    • Practice medicine in line with veterinary ethics, statutes, and procedures (a.k.a. be the awesome, responsible DVM you were trained to be).

Tools of the Trade

  • Digital radiography

  • Sparkling in-house lab

  • Updated dental and anesthesia units

  • Our own North Bay Animal App + texting service to simplify client communication

Caseload variety keeps every day interesting—routine spays/neuters plus cystotomies, FHOs, amputations, enucleations, C-sections, and more. It’s a great mix for a doctor who loves flexing surgical skills.
