We’re excited to welcome a part-time Associate Veterinarian to our 3-doctor team! This is a wonderful opportunity to join a practice that blends compassionate care with innovative medicine — from Class IV therapeutic laser treatments and stem cell therapy to dental radiography, surgery, and acupuncture. Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples; interpret results.
Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
Provide compassionate counsel around pet end-of-life care.
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and all relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
Active or eligible Florida veterinary license.
Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD licensure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional, positive, and collaborative demeanor with both staff and clients.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed.
