At Spelts and Masters Veterinary Clinic, great medicine starts with relationships—between our doctors and clients, within our team, and with the Albany community we've proudly served for years.

We're looking for an experienced Associate Veterinarian who wants the freedom to practice high-quality medicine, enjoys surgery, and values having an experienced team beside them. Here, you'll have the autonomy to make the clinical decisions you believe are right for your patients without feeling like you're practicing on an island.

Our primary focus is companion animal medicine, with interesting medical and surgical cases and a loyal client base that trusts our team with their pets' care. For a veterinarian interested in expanding beyond small animal medicine, there may also be opportunities to incorporate large animal cases based on your interests and the needs of the practice.

A Practice Where Experience Is Valued

  • Clinical autonomy — Practice medicine with the freedom to use your experience and judgment
  • Established client relationships — Join a practice with a loyal, long-standing client base
  • Experienced team beside you — Work alongside knowledgeable doctors and skilled support staff
  • Medicine that stays interesting — See a variety of medical and surgical cases
  • Surgery opportunities — Continue using and developing your surgical skills
  • Modern tools and technology — The resources you need to provide high-quality care
  • Room to follow your interests — Potential opportunities to incorporate mixed animal medicine if that's where your interests take you
  • A team-first environment — Collaboration, communication, and support are part of how we practice
