Associate Veterinarian | Albany, Georgia

Up to $75,000 Sign-On Bonus + Up to $25,000 Relocation Assistance

At Spelts and Masters Veterinary Clinic, great medicine starts with a team that supports you while giving you room to practice, grow, and build a career you're excited about.

We're looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys quality medicine, values strong client relationships, and wants to be part of an experienced, collaborative team. We're open to two different paths for this opportunity: an experienced veterinarian interested in mixed-animal medicine, or a motivated new graduate looking to build a strong foundation exclusively in small-animal medicine.

For an experienced veterinarian, there is an opportunity to incorporate both companion and large-animal medicine and bring your existing skills and interests to the practice.

For a new graduate, this will be a small-animal-only role. We're looking for someone eager to learn, motivated to build their medical and surgical skills, and excited to take advantage of the support and experience around them as they grow into a confident veterinarian.

Our companion-animal caseload offers a variety of medical and surgical cases, along with a loyal client base that trusts our team with their pets' care. You'll have experienced doctors and skilled support staff beside you while still having the autonomy to develop your own approach to medicine.

A Place to Learn, Grow & Practice Your Way

  • Experienced team beside you — Work with knowledgeable doctors and skilled support staff
  • Clinical growth and autonomy — Continue developing your skills while building your own approach to medicine
  • Surgery opportunities — Build or continue using your surgical skills with a varied caseload
  • Established client relationships — Join a practice with a loyal, long-standing client base
  • Interesting medicine — See a variety of medical and surgical cases that keep your days engaging
  • Modern tools and technology — Have the resources you need to provide high-quality care
  • Mixed-animal opportunity for experienced DVMs — Incorporate large-animal medicine if it aligns with your experience and interests
  • Small-animal path for new grads — Build a strong clinical and surgical foundation while working alongside an experienced team
