Highland Square Family Vet is a modern, collaborative practice seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our team. Whether you're looking to supplement your current schedule, return to practice, or simply prefer part-time hours, we'll work with you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

Our doctors enjoy practicing progressive medicine with the support of an experienced team and advanced technology, including therapeutic laser, stem cell therapy, dental radiography, acupuncture, surgery, and more. We care primarily for dogs and cats, with occasional exotic patients.

Essential Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality medical care for companion animals
  • Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment plans
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and develop appropriate care plans
  • Educate clients on preventive care and treatment options
  • Deliver compassionate guidance through all stages of a pet's life, including end-of-life care
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Practice in accordance with veterinary ethics and medical standards

Requirements/Qualifications

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
  • Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Collaborative, positive, and professional approach to patient care
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed

Pay Range

USD $60,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
